Called the costliest disaster in US history, Hurricane Katrina pushed the GOHSEP staff far beyond what could be handled manually or with Excel spreadsheets. Almost immediately after the storm, GOHSEP turned to EMGrantsPro for managing the Public Assistance program and LouisianaPA.com was launched. An unprecedented amount of paperwork was instantly organized and the status of Applicants, projects, and payments could be obtained at the click of a button.
